The article presents a mathematical model of one of the types of problems in the radiative energy transfer theory. The mathematical definition of basic concepts gives a sum of integrals where the dimension of integral tends to infinity. The correctness of such a statement is proved. In proving the theorem, a method for solving the infinite-dimensional integral is proposed.
The article considers the task of maximum power point tracking of a photovoltaic array. A photovoltaic array maximum power point tracking system based on a modified fuzzy neural network is developed. Compared to existing fuzzy neural networks a modified fuzzy neural network includes recurrent neural networks, one of which approximates multidimensional membership functions based on experimental data. In order to create an optimal architecture of a modified fuzzy neural network, we developed a modified multi-dimensional particle swarm algorithm. The algorithm generates an initial particle position based on the Nguyen–Widrow method and combines the stages of global optimization based on a multi-dimensional particle swarm optimization with the stages of gradient descent based on the Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm. The validity and advantages of the proposed photovoltaic array maximum power point tracking system based on a modified fuzzy neural network under random perturbations by numerical simulations in Octave are demonstrated. The simulation results show that the proposed tracking system achieves competitive performance and robustness, as compared to a classical control model with a PID controller based on perturbation and observation, or incremental conductance algorithm.
The article discusses the problem of plants identification based on visual signs with the use of a computer vision system. The problem is solved in the space of colour components of the RGB model. The procedures of image preprocessing and morphological operators for binary images are used to improve the quality of identification. The results of the identification of biological objects could be used in automatic greenhouse systems.
The article provides definitions of a storage area network, data storage systems, a typical structural model of a storage area network, describes the problems associated with the development of storage infrastructure. An overview of major storage manufacturers and reliability indicators calculations of storage equipment are given. The study aims to analyze the reliability of the elements of disk subsystems based on operational data. The main features that corporate-level data storage systems should have are reliability and fault tolerance. Data accessibility is achieved through the full and partial backup of active storage components, as well as through advanced data integrity functions. As for indicators of reliability, we chose the failure rate and the mean time to failure. After processing the input data, the probabilities of failure-free operation, the probability of failures, the failure rate, and the failure frequency are calculated, and the graphs are plotted. The calculated values of the failure rate and the mean time to failure for the data storage elements are obtained.
The article proposes a method for assessing the regional health care system using the econometric approach and fuzzy set theory. The scientific novelty of the study is the construction of fuzzy predictions of the main indicators characterizing the state of the studied health care system, using trend models. Furthermore, using a standard fuzzy three-level [0,1]-classifier, a method of constructing a complex numerical assessment of the health system of the region is proposed.
Today there is no unified algorithm for solving problems of integrated interaction. This article analyses the issue of integration and reveals some patterns. In addition to it, an approach to problem solving is distinguished. The considered solution provides automation of the processes of detection of collateral fraud and verification (assessment) of real estate or mortgage portfolios accepted as collateral (anti-fraud system).
